Articulation Form

Students newly admitted to UB should follow the course articulation instructions included with their offer of Admission, in the letter from the Transfer Advisory Council, or follow these instructions:

  1. Select one of the forms below.
  2. Fill out a separate form for each different UB department.
  3. Include a syllabus for each course you wish to have reviewed for articulation. Send electronic files in either .doc(x), .pdf, or .jpg formats. (REQUIRED)
  4. Send the request (with syllabi) by one of the methods listed:

Take or send request directly to the appropriate UB academic department that teaches the subject - If choosing this method, students must also supply a course description, as well as syllabus, for each course they wish to have reviewed.

NOTE: Students should speak with an advisor prior to requesting any articulations on their transfer courses, as there may be courses that are not necessary to fulfill specific requirements at UB.

Current UB students should request articulation of transfer course equivalencies directly. The process is:

  1. Select one of the forms below.
  2. Fill out a separate form for each different UB department.
  3. Include a syllabus and course descriptions for each course you wish to have reviewed for articulation.
  4. Bring or send the documents to the UB academic department that teaches the subject.

NOTE: See your advisor for help with selecting transfer courses or for UB articulation contact information.

  1. After forms are completed and signed by the appropriate UB academic department, they should be sent to:

TAURUS holds the right to deny any request if it does not follow the proper guidelines listed above.

Approved course articulation decisions are processed and distributed to the public on the TAURUS website.
